Clear Creek Amana Graduation

CEREMONY DATE AND TIME: Sunday, May 24th, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
LOCATION: Clear Creek Amana High School Stadium, 551 W Marengo Road, Tiffin, IA 52340
LIVESTREAM LINK: https://youtube.com/live/NTEXrkTCiTM?feature=share

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN: In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be relocated indoors to the gym. Families will be notified of this change by Friday, May 22nd no later than 10:00 am via email. If we are forced to move the ceremony inside due to limited space, each graduating student will be allotted eight tickets for their family members. Guests must bring these tickets to attend the indoor ceremony. Seniors will receive the tickets after rehearsal to give to their families.

GRADUATE ARRIVAL: Graduates are expected to park in the Middle School parking lot and arrive no later than 11:45am for their professional photo and to line up for the ceremony.

ATTIRE: We ask students to wear business casual attire for the ceremony. For males, appropriate attire includes a collared shirt, slacks, and dress shoes. For females, suitable options are a dress, skirt or slacks with an appropriate blouse, and dress shoes. If you plan to wear shoes that you are not accustomed to, please ensure you wear them during the graduation practice to confirm you can successfully climb the stage. Please note that unacceptable attire includes, but is not limited to, pajamas, bedroom slippers, bathing suits, and flip-flop sandals.

CAP AND GOWN: Seniors are responsible for bringing their own cap and gown. Caps should not be decorated to uphold uniformity.

HANDICAP SEATING: Seating will be available for those who may need it to be able to comfortably enjoy the ceremony without the need for special requests.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Halverson Photography will be taking professional individual photos of the Seniors as they arrive for graduation. Please be watching for an email from Halverson Photography two weeks after graduation. This email will contain the student’s photo along with details on how to order and purchase optional photos.  Additionally, if indoors, guardians may discreetly approach the stage area for a quick photo before returning to their seats.

VIDEOGRAPHY: The graduation ceremony will not be videotaped. You may record the ceremony discreetly if you choose. The ceremony will be livestreamed for families and friends not able to attend.

DIPLOMAS: Students will be given their diplomas during the ceremony or after depending on the weather.

The counseling department will provide more details about the Senior Awards ceremony and other essential tasks for Seniors. Please monitor your email and district communication channels for that important information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to our Graduation Coordinator, Megan Carlo at megancarlo@ccaschools.org or by calling Ms. Carlo at 319-545-2361.

In addition, all fees—including registration, Kirkwood fees, lunch accounts, textbook and library fines, and any athletic uniforms or equipment fees—must be paid in full before rehearsal.

Students are also required to return their Chromebook, case, and power cord on or before their last day of class. If any outstanding fines or fees remain unpaid by rehearsal day, the student may not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
