Clear Creek Amana Community School District prepares students to be productive, responsible, community members by providing an environment that brings learning to life. Our student career exploration options set students up for success in regards to allowing them to explore careers without making a financial investment.

Student Opportunities are at the heart of our core values. Job Shadows, Internships, and Apprenticeships are a great way to learn more about a career before going into the workforce, post-high school training, or college. These experiences can lead to a greater interest in a particular field, or lead to the realization that this job might not be right for you. Career exploration is guaranteed to explore new possibilities in the areas of your interest. Job shadows are a way to go into a place that interests you while observing and learning more about that career. (job shadows one and done type of deal). Internships are more of an ongoing visit that lasts up to 60 hours.

Our mission, curriculum, and school culture are the foundation from which our students will excel. We firmly believe that this investment is critical to the success of our students.

3. Managing Growth- As the district continues to grow, we will advocate for reasonable class sizes. We will focus on building and maintaining our buildings and grounds to create an inviting learning environment. We will welcome the community to our district to share their expertise and knowledge in order to collaboratively improve our local community.

Career Exploration Days -

Offers a great introduction to a specific career field and allows you to explore a broad scope of careers within that industry, all in one shadow experience. We recommend sophomores and students who are just beginning their career exploration journey start with Career Exploration Days.

Specific Career Opportunities -

Perfect for students who are more certain of their career interest(s) and want to focus only on that career. Priority is given to juniors and seniors.
